KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT KOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHE'HOO BEN HAOLAM HABA

L’yilui Nishmat Avraham ben Ester & Israel ben Rivka.
From Yalkut Yosef:

1. If someone read Kriyat Shma and did not specify in the pronunciation of each word by itself, he/she still fulfilled the obligation of saying Kriyat Shma. But in any event, LeChatchila (the best way) one should be very cautious with this pronunciation.

2. One needs to make the pronunciation of the words of Kriyat Shma when reading it loud enough to be able to be hear to his/her own ears. Even the Pasuk “VeChara Af Hashem…” that needs to be whispered should still be loud enough to be heard to one’s own ears. Even if one did not hear his/her own words of Shma, he/she still fulfilled the obligation of Mitzvat Kriyat Shma. However, if one did not say the words from his/her lips, rather just thought about the words, he/she did not fulfill the Mitzva of Kriyat Shma.
