From Yalkut Yosef:
1. A Katan (under 13) who is six years old that knows who he is praying to [Hashem], he can be part of a Zimun (final Prayer after eating bread) of 3 people or 10 (one is different than the other). In a Zimun of 10 one can ONLY add ONE Katan for the Zimun.
2. Two people who want to do Zimun and are in the middle of their Seuda when a third person wants to join the meal to make a Zimun, they can give him fruits, vegetables (minimum 27 grams), or a glass of wine then he can join them for a Zimun.
