KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT BECHOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHEH'HOO BEN HA'OLAM HABA

L'yilui Nishmat Avrahan ben Ester & Israel ben Rivka.
From Yalkut Yosef Shabat:
1. Because it says in the Book Yoshaya 58:13 "VeChibadeto Ma'asot Darchecha," Chazal teach from here that one needs to be cautious on Shabat regarding their walk. One should not walk on Shabat Kodesh like they are walking on Yom Chol (regular day). Therefore, one may not run on Shabat, a light run or an intense run, unless its for a Mitzvah (like going to Bet Knesset and the like).

2. One is allowed to run to Shul on Shabat even from the first step out of his/her home, not only when one gets near the Shul (which means he/she has walking more than half of the journey from home).

3. One who is walking and is suspicious of rain, he/she is allowed to run home to prevent getting wet. Also, one may run away from a wild dog or the like.

4. One who is in the area of women who are Prutzot (not Tzanu'a) may run away from them on Shabat to prevent any Chata'im (sins).
