From Ve'En Lamo Michshol:
1. One is not allowed to tie a permanent knot on Shabat (ex. Double knot). Therefore every type of knot that is not allowed to be tied on Shabat Kodesh, is also not allowed to be tightened (ex. Tzitzit Knots).
2. One is not allowed to kill any type of insect/bug/fly and any other animals on Shabat, because one who kills a fly it is as if he/she killed a camel. Therefore all should be notified not to kill bugs or flies in the Summer where people are prone to kill them due to the necessity on a Yom Chol (non-Shabat day). One is allowed to put on the skin LIQUID anti-bug repellant (NOT CREAM) on Shabat Kodesh.
3. One who has mucus (street name: Lugi), it is not Derech Eretz to spit it out onto public pavement, because another person can walk by and become disgusted. Even if he/she has to spit this out, they should at least cover it with something, in order to prevent disgust to others. It is Halacha as well to cover up mucus found on the ground where many people walk by, so others won't be disgusted. Also when one enters a restroom, is the toilet was not flushed, they should flush it. Hashem personally blessed the one who does this.
4. A Cohen who is about to do Brikat Kohanim should place his shoes under his chair/table for Derech Eretz purposes, because leaving them out in the open is not respectful for the Tzibbur. Also at Smachot one should watch out not to stand on the Ballroom Chairs and make them dirty so others won't be able to sit on them. Also these people should watch out not to damage the chairs because it can be considered as Gezel (stealing). The one who protects his Nefesh should watch out from this.
From Yalkut Yosef:
5. There are those [who follow the Kabbalistic customs] who don't shave or get a haircut until the 49th day of the Omer, and this should be followed by the ones who alwayds do Kabbalaistic Customs. The custom of the majority is to cut the hair/shave on the 34th day of the Omer after Shacharit (this Monday morning). However, whoever follows the Kabbalistic Minhag (49th day) and wants to follow the majority (34th day), just needs his Rabbi's Heter (permission).
6. If there is a Brit Milah during Sefirat HaOmer, the father of the baby, the Sandak, and the Mohel are the only ones who can get a haircut and shave, because it is considered there Yom Tov [24 hour span before the Brit Milah].
