1. One should be cautious not to be involved with anything when saying a Bracha, because then he/she will not focus on the BRacha and there will be no kavana [it takes approximately 9 seconds to say a bracha with kavana]. There are certain people who begin to say Bracha for the Talit while unwrapping their Talit. These type of people should be warned that one is not allowed to do anything during the time when he/she is praising Hashem (because in reality a Bracha is just praising G-d that He created everything).
2. One who drinks water and he/she is not thirsty at all, rather he/she is drinking to prevent being thirsty or from being dehydrated should say a Bracha (SheHakol) because he/she does not enjoy from the water at all. This applies for those drinking on Erev Ta’anit (ex. The day before Yom Kippur or Tisha B’Av), because those that drink not to be thirsty on the Ta’anit do not need to say SheHakol.
