1. People who go to Smachot (Wedding, Bar Mitzvah, Brit Milah, etc.) and join to drink alcoholic beverage to say LeChayim who are not used to drinking alcohol and do not enjoy the drink, then they should not say a Bracha (SheHakol or HaGefen if its wine). Therefore they should take soda, water, juice or anything of the like beforehand to say a Bracha and have in mind the drink they will have in the future for the LeChayim.
2. One who says a Bracha on food should not speak until he/she swallows a portion of the food. The people who hurry to speak after placing food in their mouths (obviously after they already said a Bracha) should be told to swallow some of the food before speaking. But, even if the person did speak before swallowing, he/she cannot say the Bracha again. After one has already put the food in his/her mouth (after saying a Bracha), if a friend says a Bracha nearby he/she (with the food in the mouth) CAN say Amen even though they did NOT swallow the food yet.
