Because it is still Sefirat HaOmer, We will be learning Easy Halachot of Deretch Eretz
From Ve'En Lamo Michshol:
1. When one is sitting in Bet Knesset, and another person comes to siut next to him, the guest should be treated with respect and in Derech Eretz {especially if the guest is walking for the first time}. The person should show the guest simcha that he sitting next to him by moving over and making space and supplying him with a Siddur. And one cannot/should not show that he is uncomfortable that the guest arrived in order to prevent discomfort and/or emotional suffering.
2. One who has a "makon kavua" (deisgnated seat) in Bet Knesset, and a stranger sits in his makom, the person should not tell the stranger to get up from his seat, because the stranger can be embarrassed. Therefore, its better to surrender the seat, and this is better than sitting in your seat, and one who does this gives Nachat (nachas) to Hashem.
3. When one is invited to be Chazan at Bet Knesset (shul), it is not Derech Eretz to accept right away, so one shoud make it like he's stalling/rejecting the invitation. At the second invitation, one should make it like he is ready to go up to be Chazan. After the third invitation, one should go up to be Chazan immediately. If he is invited to be Chazan by a big Rav or he is the known Chazan of the Bet Knesset, he has to go up after even a SINGLE invitation for Chazanut.
4. One who uses a Sefer (book) that belongs to a Bet Midrash or Bet Knesset (Siddur, Chumash, Tanach, etc.), it is not Derech Eretz to leave the Sefer where he used it, rather the person should return it to its place.
