1. A women who is Ashkenazi may cook for her Spharadi husband rice/kitniyot on Pesach, even though she holds the minhag of not eating rice/kitniyot. This woman may cancel her minhag upon marriage to her Sphardi husband [who obviously holds eating rice/kitniyot] by getting a Heter from her Rabbi {and this is the law for all minhagim changed and specifically by Pesach}.
2. On Pesach we are the strictest on everything regarding Halacha [and this is recommended] and one should only be strict in his own home, but should NOT tell others what to do, and if he does he should teach them the Halacha and no added strict versions. One should not be "wise" and be more strict than the Halacha itself because in the end he will be mistaken and confused.
