KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT MUVTACH LO SHEHOO BEN HAOLAM HABA

1. One who invites a magician on Purim causes the crowd to be stunned in shock by the magician's quick magic tricks. Even though the magician is not actually doing any real black magic, HE IS NOT ALLOWED TO PERFORM. There is space to allow a Non-Jewish magician to perform because he is only attempting to "hold" the eyes of the audience, just to catch their attention.

2. There is a known custom to set a known "Rav" for Purim in Yeshivot who sets up jokes and and raises his voice throughout Purim to embarass people and make a mockery of the Rosh Yeshiva. Rav Ovadya is very aggressive (to say the least about this, because this takes up 3/4 of a page of Yalkut Yosef) about this custom. He says "there will not be a person like this in Israel." There is absolutely no place to allow this conduct! He says the person who says anything on Chachmei Israel has a huge punishment. He says the one who does this has NO Chelek LeOlam Haba. He brings sources about the severity of this sin from Mishlei, the Torah, and the Gemara (Masechtot Psachim, Megillah and Shabat) where it says Yerushalayim was destroyed because of the embarrassment of Talmidei Chachamim.

B'H We will all celebrate Purim through real Yirat Shamayim and Kdusha Elyona!

SHABAT SHALOM U'MEVORACH! :D. B'H FOR SHABAT KODESH.
