Queen Vashti deciding to reject the King.

In the Pasuk describing the Party that Vashti also had (Ester 1:9): "Queen Vashti, too, made a feast for the women in the royal palace of King Achashverosh."(chabad.org), the Pasuk begins with the word "Gam." What do we learn from this? The Gra HaKadosh says that Gam, also, this is another event that occurs that shows Hashem is the ruler and controller of all things in our world. In general, when we look at the story of Purim, it does NOT make sense to say that "it all happened coincidentally." There is no room for someone who says that G-d was not in charge. So, with this in mind, we see that so too this event that Vashti did, which was to have her own little party, was also part of Hashem's plan to save the Yehudim and build the 2nd Beit HaMikdash (in their time).


B'H We will open our eyes to see that every detail, even the tiniest thing in the entire world, simply an ant moving from one rock to another, is all part of Hashem's huge plan to bring the Mashiach and it does have a meaning and purpose!
