1. When one wakes up in the morning he needs to say an assortment of Brachot (mainly thanking Hashem for everything, showing how G-d is in control, and brachot about Limud Torah). Before these brachot are states, one needs to do netillat yadayim (Wash= in the order of Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left fully until the wrist bone) and before drying them off recite the Bracha "al netillat yadayim."
2. If one does not have a Natlan (Washing cup), then Rav Ovadya says to turn the faucet on and off and put your hands under the faucet on and off with the order mentioned above. Also, one can shove his hands into snow, BUT with these methods one cannot say the Bracha for the Netillah.
