1. One should be cautious to spea in the bathroom. One who is in the bathroom when someone else is using the toilet should avoid making the person using the toilet speak. Speaking when using the restroom is not the way a Ben Torah Acts. The Torah is an elevated guide for life.
2. One is not allowed to think thoughts of Limud Torah when using the toilet. For this reason Gabayim are urged not to build bathrooms near Shuls. Why? To prevent the one using the toilet from hearing the tefillah. If one does hear the tefillah, he should put an effort to chase away the voice of the chazan/people of the minyan from his mind.
