CLD #163

What does it mean to be dead but alive in our world? There is a Din that occurs during the Tchiyat HaMetim (Resurrection). In Masechet Rosh HaShanah Daf 16 Amud Bet the Gemara HaKdosha discusses that there are three types of classes that a person is placed in during this Din. It says that Tzadikkim are related with Chayim, which is life. The Benonim (something like 50/50) will be seen as 50/50. The Resha’im are related with “LeAltar LeMitah,” or in simple English: death. What can we learn from this? That a Rasha, a person who does not follow the basic beliefs in G-d, mashiach, Tchiyat HaMetim, Olam Haba; is alive in this world but is really dead. Theres a very simple klal in our world: if you don’t follow the Torat Emet, it is impossible for you to take full advantage of the world and honestly feel fulfilled because our Neshamot come here to complete mitzvoth. Its simple.

Hashem gave us Torah and Mitzvot “Lezakot Otanu,” to make us feel privileged.
The reality is that with the Torah we live the happiest lives.
Ex. If you believe in Hashem then everything comes from Shamayim and there is no reason to be angry or upset. Ever.
