CLD #111

CHANNUKAH 5771! Prayer is something we take for granted, and especially on Channukah its meaning is different. When we Pray we do stand in front of Hashem direct, and the idea that because of our 'avonot' we think we are far away from Hashem is a complete lie created by the 'yetzer hara' for us to think we are away from G-d. In Prayer, in amida especially, we need to believe and know that Hashem listens AND ACCEPTS our prayer 100%! If one really believed, i mean really believed, and understand the idea of prayer; we would be praying all day (not amida obviously, but just simply looking up to G-d and asking for help). Also: another idea; when saying thank you in prayer, we should say "and please help us even more in the future!" Why? Leah Imeinu said thank you when Yehuda was born, and right after her womb 'closed up.' Rabbis comment and say this happened because she felt 'satsified' with 4 boys. From this example, we see we need to be selfish and even take advantage that we are sons and daughters of Hashem! Especially in Channukah, when the spiritual lights are greatened and all over our spiritually-low world, we need to take advantage and pray for everything and anything we truly want.
G-d willing Hashem will do whatever HE THINKS is good for us, not what we think is good for us.
CHAG SAMEACH AND SHABAT SHALOM (TMRW!!!)

SMILE, CUZ G-D LOVES YOU :D
