From Yalkut Yosef:
1. It is an obvious minhag (custom) to avoid getting a haircut during Sefirat Ha’Omer until the 34th day of the Omer (which is in 24 days) in the morning, and we Sepharadim do not get a haircut on the 33rd day of the Omer (Lag Ba’Omer) like our Ashkenazi brothers. After the 34th day an individual can get a haircut whenever they want.
2. Women do not fall under the stringency of not getting a
haircut during the days of the Omer. Also it is allowed to cut one’s
fingernails during the Omer.
