KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT BECHOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHEH'HOO BEN HA'OLAM HABA

Translated from Yalkut Yosef:

1. Because of the mixing of grains of oats and wheat in some foods, the Ashkenazim have the custom to forbid the consumption of kitniyot on Pesakh. In most of the Sephardic countries this forbidden custom was not taken upon the congregations and a Sephardic person should not be stringent upon him/herself in this regard.

2. There are some Sephardic people who are great in their fear of Hashem who hold to forbid the intake of rice on Pesakh due to the kitniyot issue. Specifically this custom was taken upon the congregations of the Morocco and other north African countries. Even though these congregations did accustom themselves to ignore rice on Pesakh, they still stay lenient like other Sepharadim in regards to all kitniyot. There are those who also forbid the consumption of Hummus.
