Yesterday’s Halachot:
Translated from Yalkut Yosef:
1. One should be cautious to say Kedusha and U’Va Letzion
with great kavana (intention) because
our Hachamim (Sages) told us that
since the destruction of the Bet HaMikdash the world ‘stands’ (exists) upon
this Kedusha. We say the Aramaic translation of Kedusha and U’Va Letzion so
everyone will understand the basic meaning of it. We hold the minhag that the Shaliah Tzibbur (Hazan) says the translation in a whisper.
2. Our minhag (custom)
is to sit down while saying Kedusha and U’Va Letzion during Shaharit, on Minha
of Shabbat and during ‘Ve’Ata Kadosh’ on Motzei Shabbat. And people should
accustom themselves to this minhag.
