Even though it's difficult, athletes strive to be MVP's and win the Gold at the Olympics.
Even though it's challenging, students strive to get the highest grades and get into the most popular schools.
Even though it's tough, employees strive to make their boss happy and win 'the employee of the month.'
Even though it's troublesome, gamers strive to get the highest score and never stop.
Even though its irritating, parents try to be the best parents and make their children happy.
Even though its strenuous, teachers try to be the most influential and inspiring and teach more and more.
But when it comes to Judaism,
Why don't we strive to be the "best" Jews?
Why don't we push to be the #1 Followers of the Shulhan Aruch (Jewish Code of Law)?
Why do I choose to passby my religion?
Why am I so lenient about life?
Judaism=Think.
Don't jump to be the best Jew in one day, because that's fake.
However, you can set up a plan for yourself and begin step by step to live a Jewish life.
Sometimes we need to refresh our memories and have a reality check about our service of Hashem.
Is what I am doing what I want to do for the rest of my life?
