KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT BECHOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHEH'HOO BEN HA'OLAM HABA

For the Ilui Neshama of Avraham ben Ester ZT’L. Lehavdeel For the Refua Shlema of Yaakov Hai ben Margalit shlit’a.
Translated from Yalkut Yosef Kitzur Shulchan Aruch:

1. One should be very cautious to have Seudit Shelishit on Shabbat (the third meal that happens on Shabbat afternoon) by specifically eating more than 54 grams of bread even if he/she is full from the Kiddush earlier. If one cannot eat pat kabetzah (54 grams of bread) they should have kabetzah (27 grams) where they do not sya a beracha on netillat yadayim (the washing, because we only say a beracha on washing when we know we are eating a minimum of 54 grams of bread). If one cannot eat at all or is sick from eating, he/she is not obligated to suffer themselves because the meal is supposed to be for pleasure. The smart individual will make sure not to stuff themselves in the morning Kiddush to make room for Seuda Shelishit.

2. Also during Seuda Shelishit one should do Hamotzi on two loaves of bread, which women are also obligated to do. Even though there is no need to do Kiddush during Seuda Shelishit, according to the Kabbalah one should say the beracha (blessing) of Boreh Peri HaGefen and drink wine (or 100% grape juice). It is correct to eat fish during Seuda Shelishit. Those who dislike the taste of fish have no obligation to eat fish during Shabbat.

SHABBAT SHALOM!
