In the Parasha we read this morning Hashem asks Am Yisrael: What is it you think I want from you? ITS TO HAVE FEAR OF HEAVEN?!?!

However, the question is asked in a ‘weird’ way. “Am now Israel what Hashem is asking of you…” In Hebrew, what, Mah, is made up of two letters (Mem & Heh). This is the Gematriya of 45 (mem=40 and heh=5). What does Hashem want from us? To have fear in Him, because that’s the process/formula to reach doing Mitzvot with love. However, lets look deeper.

What is also linked to the number 45? Asher Yatzar (the Bracha one says after going to the Bathroom). Asher Yetzer is the ultimate way to think and delve into the topic of believing that Hashem controls every tiny part of the world, life, our life, our bodies and more importantly the way our body’s work. This shows us that we need to first think and wonder and ponder about what’s around us to reach the EMUNAH (belief in G-d) and then reach the fear that He wants us to reach.

What is also linked to the number 45? Adam HaRishon. Adam is the Gematriya of 45 also (Aleph=1, Dalet=4, Mem=40). In reality, our soul is a tiny part of Adam HaRishon. Adam is one huge Neshama of the Jewish people, and after the sin his Neshama was broken up into thousands of pieces, which were given to us to fix. This is called Tikkun Olam. When we rush to be closer to Hashem and feel his presence wherever we go, this is in fact the Tikkun (fixing) that we do after Adam HaRishon’s Chet (sin).

B’H we should realize everything we do is for the further strengething of our own selves and the strengthening of all the Jews around us (because who knows how strong you make someone when they see you wearing a kippa or even a modest skirt)! Let’s take an hour tonight to learn Torah around a table set for Melaveh Malka (the fourth meal, after Shabbat) to help Am Yisrael, especially those in danger from all the rockets, mortars, and shells being constantly fired into Israel. B’H this will end ASAP! (I heard the Israeli government, with the help of the Left Wing recently took our Hashem’s name from the ceremony of killed soldiers, who knows why Israeli citizens are being killed recently? Hashem Yerache! B’H the liberal and left movement should be defeated and taken out of the Israeli government as soon as possible! The left only causes people to distance from the Torah, which means distancing from the One who created us, Hashem!)

SHAVUA TOV! May all of Israel, and those who erased Hashem’s name from the ceremony for killed soldiers do Tshuva to realize WE ARE NOT IN CONTROL!
