CLD #315

For the Refua Shlema of Moshe ben Mazal.
They say a sign of a real pious person is the fact that he/she has the capability to teach Torah even when speaking about non-Torah issues. When one is in a state of Chol (which simply means non-Kdusha, non-Holiness, for example speaking about medicine or nature) there a person can see if he/she is a Ben/Bat Torah. They way one speaks is crucial in finding out what that person is all about.
There can be a Ben Torah, a person who learns about the Midot of what it means to live a life of Torah all day, and then when it comes to matters ‘outside’ (there is no such thing and the one who understands may he/she be praised) of the Torah the student is all nasty in his language and description.
There is another Ben Torah who calmly and respectfully goes throughout his day with respect for other people, smiling, doing everything he does with relaxation and Simcha, etc. Without even meaning to this person does Kiruv and shows the people around him that the way of the Torah is the true way for one to live.
B’H we should all have the zchut to open our hearts to Hashem and realize the TRUTH that we all need to pray day and night for the ZCHUT (privelage) to become a Ben/Bat Torah.
