L’yilui Nishmat Avraham ben Ester & Israel ben Rivka.
From Ve’En Lamo Michshol:
1. It is not Derech Eretz to sit down leg-on-leg, because it shows signs of Ga’ava (arrogance), especially while sitting down around people. Even more so while sitting in Bet Knesset, even if his intention is to make it easier to hold a book and learn.
2. There are times when an ambulance arrives to transport the sick to the hospital, and there are those who don’t know that it’s a great lack of Derech Eretz to stand around the ambulance, be nosy, and research into another person’s business. Also because of the possibility of the sick being embarrassed, it is a mitzvah to chase away the people and children staring.
From Yalkut Yosef:
3. One who said the bracha of Boreh Pri Ha’Adama on a fruit (with a bracha of Ha’Etz), fulfilled the obligation of saying a bracha even though it was a mistake. Even if he received more fruits he doesn’t need to say the bracha of Ha’Etz. However, if on a vegetable [with bracha of Adama] one said Ha’Etz, he did NOT fulfill his obligation of saying the bracha. If one realizes he’s making a mistake and only during the bracha he realizes, he may correct himself (Ex. Baruch Atah…Bored Pri Ha’Etz-one second passes-Boreh Pri Ha’Adama).
4. If one cannot figure out what type of Bracha to say, if its because of an Halachic or practical reason, all should say the bracha of Boreh Pri Ha’Adama (on a fruit). BeDi’eved (the least best way to fulfill the obligation) one can say the bracha of SheHakol. Also something that doesn’t come out of the ground and its bracha is unknown [ex. Candy, ice cream, cake] and it can’t be figured out, one should say Shehakol.
