L'yilui Nishmat Avraham ben Ester & Israel ben Rivka.
From Ve'En Lamo Michshol:
1. If Person A wants to tell Person B a Dvar Torah/Chiddush and asks him if he had already heard the Dvar Torah, B is allowed to say he didn't hear it before EVEN IF HE HAD! Because B is doing Chessed to A when giving him pleasure of telling him a new Chiddush.
2. It is not Derech Eretz when a Katan [under 13] sits in front of a Gadol [above 13] without permission. Therefore when one enters into a room with a Talmid Chacham to speak with him or ask him a question, one should not sit down until the Talmid Chacham gives him permission to do so.
