B'H Due to disastrous Internet Connection at Home I am Blogging from Barnes & Noble (while listening to their suicidal music, G-d help me! Kapara La Avonot for sure!):
1. After the Ba'al HaBayit breaks open the Bread of HaMotzi and ate a kazayit amount of bread for himself, he then needs to give a piece to his wife (according to the Zohar HaKadosh). And even if there is an important person (Rabbi, Talmid Chacham, Rosh Yeshiva, Bachur Yeshiva, etc.) at the table as well as the wife, if the Ba'al HaBayit knows the person will get offended, he should give both his wife and the Adam Chashuv (important person) pieces of bread at the same time.
2. People who print out weekly Parashat HaShavua magazines need to be cautious not to advertise ads that relate to Chol [non-holy, non-Shabat related topics] because people reading are not allowed to read this on Shabat Kodesh. Gabbais of Shuls should not hand out or permit these magazines in their shuls, and the one who is cautious is promised peace (this is a Segula for all types of Shalom).
SHABAT SHALOM!
