1. If someone finds Chametz in a public place on Pesach, is not allowed to take it and make it become his property because we are scared that he/she will eat it in the end.
2. One is not allowed to get any type of benefit from Chametz on Pesach (including the selling of it). Therefore, one is not allowed to feed chickens Chametz on Pesach.
3. Chachamim forbid Am Yisrael to gain benefit from Chametz, except the benefit of selling it to a Goy.
