In the Gemara, Masechet Kiddushin, it states that when one buys a Non-Jewish woman as a servant, he buys her once and for all, as a single purchase. When a Jewish Man (wording of Gemara=)"buys" a Woman who is beautiful, religious, caring, with fear of G-d, etc. for the purposes of marriage, he needs to buy her in two steps: Irusin and Nisu'in.
This shows us how much more a Jewish woman is worth compared to a Goya. When one looks at the behavior of a goya compared to lehavdeel a Yehudiya who acts in such class and beauty.
Repeating an important point: Take 1 million Goyim from Shanghai, bring them to the Kotel (try to imagine). Now bring only 9 Jews to the Kotel. THEY DO NOT HAVE A MINYAN!
We are worth so much! Each soul is so high, it is actually connected to Hashem's "office," his kiseh hakavod!
So too our actions! How much is each action we take worth? In our Parasha this week, Parashat Metzora, it discusses the laws of tzara'at (leprosy) in depth. One of the causes of tzara'at is from speaking Lashon Hara, or gossip. Each time someone speaks gossip, EVEN TRUTH about another, then a bad angel is created.
Your mouth is an angel factory.
SHABAT SHALOM!
