KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT BECHOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHEH'HOO BEN HA'OLAM HABA

For the Ilui Neshama of Avraham ben Ester ZT’L. Lehavdeel For the Refua Shlema of Chai Yaakov ben Margalit shlit’a.

1. It’s a mitzvah to add to Seudat Purim to make the meal different than any other meal. In this Seuda bread does not have to be eaten, but it is better to have bread in order to say the Brachot that go with it (Netillat Yadayim, HaMotzti, and Birkat HaMazon). If one said Birkat HaMazon and said Hashem’s name in the Bracha following Al HaNisim and forgot to say Al HaNisim, he does not go back to Al HaNisim but says it in the HaRachamans paragraph in different wording ( look in Yalkut Yosef- even it is the only time he will be saying Birkat HaMazon on Yom Purim).

2. How does one fulfill the Mitzvah of Seudat Purim? By eating meat and drinking wine during a feast (based on each one’s financial level). One should drink to the point of intoxication and should sleep from intoxication. The meat eaten in the Seuda should be Glatt Kosher in order to really do the Seuda, because Simcha means eating meat and drinking wine. If one has an issue with eating meat, then they should eat chicken instead.
CHAG SAMEACH!
