CLD #214

SHABAT SHALOM! SHABAT ZACHOR!
We read the VaYizkor Amalek passage in Shacharit Shabat!
Mitzvah from the Torah, very big deal to go to shul this Shabat specifically!
:D
Continuing the Purim Learning:
Perek bet Pasuk bet: "And let the King appoint officers in all the provinces of his kingdom, and let them gather every beautiful virgin girl to Shushan the capital, to the harem, under the charge of Heigai, chamberlain of the King, custodian of the women, and let their cosmetics be provided.(chabad.org)"
Achashverosh sets up a whole system renewing all the ministers of each region to bring in the most beautiful young women for him to audition for the role of Queen! Why does Achashverosh set up a whole new system commanding each person individually? The Malbim HaKadosh explains that Achashverosh needed to appoint a whole new group of people to the role of ministers because he didn't trust his old ministers. He thought they would be bribed by the rich who had beautiful daughters not to send them to a king who slaughters his wives. The people of Paras and Madai were terrified of Achashverosh because he was influenced by wine and was conisdered a tipesh, simply clumsy. What can we learn from this????? When Hashem tells Am Yisrael to do something, we do not do it in fear. We do his Mitzvot and Learn Hit Torah beAhava, or at least try to get to a level where we do! Everything that the Torah, and more importantly Hashem commands us is all FOR US! When I tried to explain to people in the past that prayer is not to charge Hashem's batteries or to give Hashem more power! In reality, its all for our benefit. If we really think we are doing Hashem a favor by praying, then we are simply not approaching the Torah and Life in the correct way. The first step is always the greatest, and the rest is with Hashem's help. :D

B'H we will have the zchut to see the truth about Hashem's way, the Torah, Mitzvot Ma'asim Tovim, Kashrut, Shabat, etc., which is really seeing the TRUE GOOD in the world!
Bracha VeHatzlacha. If you do not even go to shul once the whole year, really push to go this shabat because its the holy shabat, SHABAT ZACHOR (Where we remember what Amalek did)!

When we will b'H realize how beautiful the Torah and the Kdusha is, we will run to Hashem in tears of happiness!
B'H for Tshuva.

SHABAT SHALOM!
