1. A Chatan (during his Sheva Brachot) and Ba'alei Brit (when the Brit falls on the same day, including the father, mohel and Sandak) all do not have to fast on Ta'anit Ester (this year=March 17). If the fast falls on Shabat (like this year) and it is moved to the thursday before, and one has a brit or a sheva brachot on the same day; they also do not need to fast and are NOT allowed to be stringent upon themselves and fast because its their day of celebration.
2. If Ta'anit Ester falls on Shabat and has been moved to Thursday (as we mentioned before) and one has eaten on thursday because he/she forgot, he MUST fast on Erev Shabat (friday) to make up for thursday's mistake.
P.S. on previos halacha, "eye aches" is a term used to describe general minor pains.
SHAVUA TOV.
