Most of the time we believe that what we do has no influence. In reality, this is 100% wrong. Fortunately or Unfortunately, however you want to look at it, every single thing we do is seen and heard and written down forever and ever, "LeNetzach Netzchachim." This is one of the toughest concepts to believe in, especially in our generation. Even though in our generation it makes the most sense because we have cameras, laptops, and technology that backs this up, helping us believe. Over 100 years ago they did not understand this concept that G-d sees and hears everything, as it is written "Ozen Shoma'at VeAyin Roah Hashem Ose Shnehem," (Translation<even though I believe words of the Torah cannot be transalted> An ear hears and an Eye sees, Hashem does both of them). Now in our Parasha there is an isse that regards hearing, Lashon Hara, speaking about another person (the Chafetz Chaim has a book with hundreds of Halachot on this topic). Where do we see this in our Parasha (Tetzaveh)? Perek 28, Pasuk 32 says: "VeHaya Pi Rosho Betocho..." (And put the mouth of its head inside it) when speaking about the collar of the Cohen's Jacket. Now the collar was made of a fabric that cannot be ripped. Since the Gemara explains that this jacket symbolizes your speech, and the Cohen (who was Aharon z'l) had the same meaning of his heart when he spoke, meaning he always said the truth. This Cohen wore this jacket, which symbolizes speech, which is never allowed to be ripped and its collar has to be inside the jacket itself. What do we learn? In no circumstances whatsoever is one allowed to use his power of speech to speak about another person!
This concept is amazing, and also 1000 times more powerful during Shabat Kodesh because Shabat is equivalent to spirituality of 1000 days combined!
SHABAT SHALOM!
Since we don't know when to speak, we all need to start learning (obviously including me)!
