The depth behind the love G-d has for us and the animals of this world is unremarkable. If one studies the halachot of shchita, or slaughtering animals for food, he can see the genius behind our Torah HaKdosha. In Rav Zamir Cohen's book "The Coming Revolution," the Rav brings dozens of examples where the Torah and Scientific facts match. One of them is the scientific fact that shchita is the best way possible to avoid hurting an animal when slaughtering it for food, after all animals were brought into this world to teach us manners and to be eaten. Halacha teaches us that an animal that was shechted in an improper fashion cannot be eaten; whether its in the saddest way killed (be abuse, gunfire, bleeding, etc.) or simply has died of old age or disease. More and more scientific facts match with the Torah's statements on the world as technology advances and experiments can be conducted.
